Blanca Canales

This tee honors Blanca Canales—the fearless Puerto Rican nationalist who led the 1950 Jayuya Uprising against U.S. colonial rule. One of the few women in world history to lead an armed rebellion, Canales raised the Puerto Rican flag high when it was still illegal to do so, shouting “¡Viva Puerto Rico Libre!” from the mountaintops.

Her fire lives on in this design—a tribute to resistance, dignity, and the unapologetic power of Boricua women.
